I’m Darcy
a Registered Dietitian specialising in gastrointestinal health, with a clinical focus on Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. I support people at all stages of their IBD journey from newly diagnosed to long-term management using evidence-based, compassionate nutrition care.
I bring extensive clinical experience, having worked across leading NHS trusts including Barts Health NHS Trust and Imperial College Healthcare Trust. I graduated from King’s College London, where I developed a strong foundation in dietetics, and I continue to build on this through ongoing professional development and research within the field of IBD.
Earlier in my career, I worked as a women’s health nutritionist and fitness coach. This experience shaped the way I practise today, allowing me to take a holistic, individualised approach that considers not just symptoms, but the wider impact IBD can have on daily life, confidence, and wellbeing.
I am a HCPC-registered dietitian and a member of the British Dietetic Association and the European Crohn’s and Colitis Organisation. My work is guided by current research and clinical guidelines, while remaining realistic, flexible, and supportive.
Living with IBD is complex, and struggles with food are not a personal failure. My role is to help you make sense of nutrition in a way that feels manageable and empowering, supporting confidence with food and quality of life.
